My Digital Accounts has become a new business partner with the Freelancer and Contractor Services Association (FCSA). My Digital Accounts is a cloud accounting software specialist for contractor accountants and umbrella firms established in 2015 by CEO and accountant John Whelan. It specialises in providing accountants with a system specifically tailored to help them manage contractors’ accounts. Hosted in the ‘cloud’, the software has been designed for simple and responsive access any time of day from anywhere in the world, making it an ideal solution for UK accountants and the contractors they work with.
Commenting on the new partnership, CEO John Whelan said: “FCSA is an important organisation that provides valuable support for professional support services in the UK, so I am delighted that it recognises the expertise and benefits that My Digital Accounts will bring to its members and the UK’s flexible workforce.
“The temporary labour market is facing many tax and compliance challenges and leading-edge technology like ours will help accountants to meet any challenges with ease with, for example, an integrated on-boarding CRM and practice management tool included as standard,” said Whelan. “We are a part of HMRC’s Making Tax Digital developer programme which means we have access to HMRC’s Development Roadmap.
“Accountants provide an invaluable service to the contractor community across the UK and our focus is on helping them to foster good client relationships to make everyone’s working lives better. We are delighted to be teaming up with FCSA as an official business partner and helping their members to thrive.”
Julia Kermode, FCSA’s chief executive added: “We are pleased to welcome My Digital Accounts on board as a partner. John has built up a company that is rooted in giving accountants the tools to help manage contractors’ accounts, and by working with My Digital Accounts, our members and the contractors they work with can be assured of a first-class accounting solution and service.”
