Companies win out at Global Recruiter awards.

Finite, FutureYou and VideoMyJob are three Australian companies who walked away with awards from The Global Recruiter Asia Pacific Industry Awards last week. Finite took Best Specialist Recruitment Business, FutureYou impressed the judges sufficiently to be crowned Best Newcomer while Australian start-up, VideoMyJob was recognised as Best Innovation for the region. With submissions judged by a panel of experts, drawn from the industry itself, these award are truly the industry’s awards – a point which has made success all the more sweeter for these and the other category winners and Highly Commendeds.

According to the award judges Finite was a standout winner in its category, demonstrating “a level of pride and intensity in the sector they work in. They have a clear focus on IT specialisation with technical verticals, outstanding industry awards and peer testimonials.” The judges were also highly impressed by Finite’s “inspirational CSR program, serving indigenous Australians.”

Finally, winning the  Best Innovation category, for what the judges described as "a comprehensive and well thought out use of multi media which enhances the search for talent and enables a more precise matching of talent to (job) opportunities,” the CEO and founder of VideoMyJob, David Macciocca, has this to say: "We are thrilled to receive the award for Best Innovation for the Asia Pacific region. We are honoured to be recognised by our industry for bringing a new product to market that is transforming the recruitment process with video job advertising.

According to the judges, VideoMyJob is "effective for employer branding and for more specific candidate attractions." The winners were announced at last week’s Global Recruiter Gala Awards Dinner held in Singapore at ParkRoyal on Pickering.
