The winners of The Global Recruiter’s Asia Pacific Industry Awards are reacting to their success in last week’s glittering award ceremony held at ParkRoyal on Pickering in SIngapore. Headline sponsored by DaXtra, the occasion brought together the best of the best in the Asia Pacific recruitment world.

“We’re delighted to be the headline sponsor for another year,” said Sergei Makhmodov, CEO Asia Pacific, for DaXtra. “We are acutely aware of the potential the Asia Pacific region offers. Having been operating in the Asia Pacific market for over five years, we feel Asia presents recruitment companies here with the world’s most exciting opportunity, as its economies keep growing consistently.”

Having earned the Best Client Service accolade Oliver James Associates noted that their efforts clearly demonstrate the innovative service and tailored customer support they deliver. Group director for the Asia-Pacific region, Jonny Plews, believes his team's indomitable commitment to client care was instrumental in the win. "It's incredibly important to us that the calibre of our support matches the calibre of our recruitment, and for The Global Recruiter to recognise this continuity in service is very encouraging indeed. We look forward to continuing our success in the region as Oliver James enters another important quarter,” he said.

Meanwhile, Shabbir Habib, CEO at Calibehr Human Capital Services Pvt. Ltd said: “It’s just a great feeling to be recognised for all the effort and passion that our entire team at CalibeHR has put in all these years. It’s also a great feeling to know that we are on the right track, and in knowing that it always pays to go beyond our customer and the market expectation.

“We only wish to intensify our efforts, belief and passion to go beyond,” he concluded.

At SThree Pte Ltd, Mark O’Halloran, senior business manager of Singapore reflected on his company’s achievement: “For us The Global Recruiter awards is a great opportunity to meet like-minded people within our industry to discuss the opportunities and challenges we face. It is a great feeling to win multiple awards at such an event whilst surrounded by many great companies and organisations within the recruitment sector.

“Whilst SThree has a large successful global footprint, it is a great testament to our strategy and culture as we get awarded for our specialist sector offering (Real Life Sciences) as well as a culture of developing our very own talent with the right mindset and an investment of in-house training personnel and systems,” he said.

Cecilia Sim, head of business at ScienTec explained the impact of their recognition: “To outshine among the recruitment royalties of the industry and clinched the accolade for the Best Small Recruitment Business, is the testimony of our team’s relentless pursuit of excellence,” she said.

"The GR awards offers a credible platform to recognise and honour top performers and sets the benchmark for the recruitment industry,” Sim added. “In the VUCA landscape, it is a certainty that human capital is the key driver that makes the difference in business. I feel the award like this cast the light on just how important recruitment is to the success of any organisations.”

Spring Professional (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. took Best Use of Social Media marking another marketing high for the Spring Professional team in Asia. Singrui Ong, senior marketing and design specialist, Asia Pacific said: “We will continue to push the boundaries of digital and content marketing to establish innovative strategies in widening and engaging our talent pools, while amplifying our clients’ employer brands across the region.”
