With new locations identified and extended topics under discussion, Recruitment Yarns Australia & New Zealand is back for 2017. The initiative drew a capacity crowd of just over 600 attendees in its inaugural year, so the hosts of Recruitment Yarns have improved on the concept this year and are extending the reach of the sessions to include New Zealand.
Building upon the theme ‘Learn, Share and Thrive’ and reflecting on important attendee feedback from 2016, the popular ‘unconference’ style event has been extended this year to include more specialist topics, geographic reach, and the introduction of masterclasses.
Leveraging last year’s successful model, the casual hosted morning roundtables sessions are guaranteed to encourage recruitment business owners and leaders to reflect on their businesses and explore fresh ideas, guided by subject matter experts in a collaborative, non-threatening environment.
Hosts and supporters for the 2017 series have been hand-picked for their expertise that matches the industry’s current challenges. The introduction of masterclasses in some locations this year also invites participants to extend their thinking to a deeper level in particular areas of their business.
Attendance for all sessions is flexible, and visitors will be able to select a morning session only, afternoon session only or both – making sure all participants gain as much as they need to help their businesses thrive.
A sterling line-up of subject matter experts have been gathered to ensure that the key challenges for recruitment owners has been considered. Topics covered include immigration, technology, finance and cashflow, training, social media, outsourcing, compliance, standards, workforce management, insurance, superannuation, and analytics and tender writing.
The event remains completely free of charge for attendees thanks to the generous support of key sponsors and industry partners Kinetic Super, Oncore, Gumtree, Arthur J Gallagher, The IT Agency, WorkPro and Manage Company (New Zealand).
Hosts anchoring the roundtables and masterclasses include RecTech Solutions, Prominence Social, Hemisphere Migration, A-Positive Cashflow, RIBreport, a plethora of respected recruitment training specialists, Certex, Video My Job, Oncore, The Accounting Department, Outsourcing Wizard, Total Tender Solutions, Gumtree, Arthur J Gallagher, Kinetic and Manage Company.
