Resource Solutions Group (RSG), one of the UK’s largest independent recruitment organisations, has opened its first office in Munich as part of a European-wide expansion programme. The office has opened under the group’s Sanderson brand, one of its specialist resourcing businesses, and follows five years of consolidated growth within the UK.
Initially opening with a team of specialist recruiters with in-depth knowledge of the German market, the primary focus for Sanderson will be in providing a full service to clients and customers looking to recruit talent in Germany and further afield. Sanderson already works with global companies as well as household brands and SMEs to support business areas including IT, business transformation, finance and corporate services.
“The move to open on mainland Europe is very much in line with the needs of our clients and the current business environment,” said Mike Beesley, chief executive of RSG. “Germany itself is an excellent place to begin our expansion plans as the country continues to experience strong economic recovery. Therefore, we believe there are many exciting opportunities for businesses to benefit from the services of a knowledge-based and relationship-led recruiter such as Sanderson.
“This is the first step on bringing our unique and successful approach to other European economies and it is likely that further overseas branches will follow in due course later this year,” he continued. “We’ve been in business in the UK for 40 years and I’m proud that our business model is mostly an organic process – something that will continue as we develop within the EU.”
The expansion plans are a product of a long-term strategy in which RSG successfully realigned its key brands, Sanderson and Resource Management, to create more integrated offer for its expanding client base.
