NumberMill has become a fully accredited member of the Freelancer and Contractor Services Association (FCSA) having demonstrated full compliance with the FCSA Code of Conduct. The business previously held associate status but has now undergone a rigorous review of its business services, operations, policies and processes, a review which was established by FCSA following extensive liaison with HMRC.
FCSA’s Code is designed to demonstrate to government, as well as freelancers, contractors and recruiters looking for a service provider, that a company is financially stable, provides high quality professional services and operates to the highest standards of transparency and accountability. Compliance with the Code is verified and validated by independent assessors that are regulated accountants and lawyers.
NumberMill was established by CEO Louise Rayner in 2013 to provide professional support services to contractors, freelancers and recruiters. On becoming a fully accredited member of FCSA, Louise Rayner said: “We are delighted to be recognised and endorsed by FCSA for our business services and reach accreditation status. FCSA echoes our own brand values and commitment to integrity, best practice and compliance and we look forward to continuing our close work with the Association to drive up standards throughout the industry. NumberMill stands for professionalism, compliance and first-class service and like FCSA we believe that the UK’s flexible workforce should accept no less.”
Julia Kermode, FCSA’s chief executive added: “It is fantastic news that NumberMill has been able to meet the extremely high standards required to become a fully accredited member of FCSA having previously been an associate member. It is no mean feat. NumberMill is a first-class company and I look forward to continuing working with Louise and her team to raise standards in our sector.
“FCSA accredited membership is the quality mark that every freelancer, contractor and recruiter should look for when considering a professional services company, safe in the knowledge that they will receive a reliable, responsible, and ethical service.”
