At the end of last month, NPA Worldwide held an Asia Regional Meeting in Hongkong at which forty-seven participants attended, coming from four continents around the world.

According to Taufik Arief, founder and director, People Search Indonesia, and  NPA Worldwide APAC Regional Director, the NPA invited external speakers and encouraged participants to share ideas and inspiration about personal development, team collaboration among the network members, how to deal with China companies, and how to leverage the investment in Hongkong/China – particularly recruitment service-related opportunities.

The meeting also addressed internal topics within the NPA, including the present and future practice, leadership in the network, and some focus group discussions.

The event was engaging for participants and included non-formal interactions, enabling members to know each other.

NPAworldwide has also announced that new membership enrollment for the year has surpassed 100 locations marking a record in membership growth for a single year. Nearly 50 new members have joined NPAworldwide since October 1st including hirers from Canada, USA, Holland and Australia.

“Congratulations to each of our new members,” said Dave Nerz, president of NPAworldwide. “By joining the network, these recruitment firms are invested as owners. Our continued membership growth allows independent recruitment firms to more effectively serve their clients and candidates by adding or increasing split placements.”
