Coople, a European on-demand staffing platform, has announced the appointment of Kevin Green as strategic advisor. The appointment further cements Coople’s commitment to being the most people-focused staffing marketplace.
Coople has always been focused on linking flexible staffing policies to business performance. In his new role, Green will engage with Coople’s team to take these conversations to the next level. As the former chief executive of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, Green has a unique perspective on how people management needs to evolve. His experience in this area, paired with Coople’s team and technology, mean that Coople’s products will allow their customers to integrate flexible workers deeply into their people strategy.
Green brings a wealth of experience to Coople, gained through over 35 years’ of HR leadership. He held the role of HR director at organisations including Royal Mail and is now the founder and CEO of What’s Next Consultancy, with a focus on helping businesses develop the culture and talent pool to deliver on their ambition. He is also a TEDx speaker and author of Competitive People Strategy, a book that helps business leaders manage and develop their people more effectively than their competitors.
“Kevin’s deep insight into best practices in recruitment and HR will be invaluable as Coople continues to enhance the value it offers to clients,” said Rinaldo Olivari, chief executive officer at Coople. “With Kevin on board, we will be better placed to advise clients on how they can put people, and especially flexible workers, at the heart of their competitive differentiation. We look forward to having him on the team.”
“We have seen a huge shift in the workplace with more talented people choosing to become freelancers, contractors, or work part-time,” noted Green. “This is because they want the ability to select meaningful work that fits around their lifestyle. To attract, hire and retain this talent, businesses need to refresh their approach to people management. The focus must be on providing a great experience and thinking more deeply about purpose, culture and leadership. What sets Coople apart is its ability to help customers integrate flexible workers into these conversations. I look forward to playing a role in driving this forward.”
