Marlin Green appoints Grant Thornton to support next phase of expansion.

European growth.

Marlin Green has announced that Grant Thornton will help shape strategy and unlock opportunities for the next chapter of the company’s growth. Driven by increasing demand for specialist expertise as well as on the ground support, the expansion programme will add to Marlin Green’s presence in London and Dusseldorf. The company is searching for opportunities in key European cities including Zurich, Geneva, Berlin and Stockholm.

“Having achieved the critical mass necessary to trigger our next phase of growth, increasing our physical presence across Europe is a natural next step,” said Toby Dixon, co-founder & CEO Marlin Green. “Following the success of our Dusseldorf office, which opened last year, we’ve identified a number of strategic geographies for expansion and look forward to working with Grant Thornton to optimise our plan.”

Marlin Green’s German operation opened in September last year and has quickly achieved seven-figure revenues. Honoured with the Queens Award for International Trade earlier this year, the company is expected to record revenue of around GBP 34m and pre-tax profit between £3.5 million and £4 million this year.

“Our success is the result of a proven formula that’s been engineered and instilled deep into the DNA of the business.,” added Dixon. “The result is a repeatable operational model that can be quickly adopted in any region and produce similar rapid results.”
