New look and more for The Global Recruiter as it reaches 200th issue.

Magazine achieves double centenary.

Right now The Global Recruiter’s 200th issue is hitting desks across the country, continent and around the world. For 200 issues, firstly as The Recruitment Consultant and then as The Global Recruiter, the magazine has brought recruitment agency professionals and leaders the very best in industry news, views, features and more. Launched by Gary King the publication has grown includible over the years, building out its reach into recruitment markets around the world.

“It’s been an amazing journey,” says Gary, commercial director, and publisher at The Global Recruiter. “We have seen this industry grow and mature over the years, taking on board the best practices of people management, adapting to changes in the employment market and leading the way in the use of technology. We’re privileged to have been able to chart stories and successes from the industry and we look forward to continuing to play our part in driving the industry forward.”

This significant issue has arrived with a new look for the magazine as the publication hones its service and approach to one of the most exciting, vital and fast moving industries in the world. Having been the first to produce a digital publication for the sector and the first to launch a dedicated app in order to bring all its published material to the recruiter’s hand the magazine has refined its offering to become more striking, accessible and focussed in bringing the most important stories to its readers.

The milestone has also come at a crucial point in the magazine’s award cycle. Currently, a set of expert industry judges are sifting through a record number of entries for There Global Recruiter’s tenth year of industry awards. Once again the awards have demonstrated the vitality and professionalism of businesses and individuals in the sector and the results, to be announced at the awards ceremony at The Cafe de Paris in central London on the afternoon of June 20, are likely to be close.
