A browser-based executive search system from Not Actively Looking has been formally launched as a separate product under the “Ezekia” brand name. The system has been designed for executive search firms to manage all of their internal processes, including searching for suitable candidates for their client assignments on the Not Actively Looking platform.
In parallel to launching the Ezekia brand, Not Actively Looking has also announced the new Career Management Portal for senior executives registered on the NAL candidate system. As well as making valuable search firm connections, senior executives who register on the NAL system will be able to access a wealth of categorised career related content, attend regular webinars and access a carefully selected directory of executive coaches and other third party service providers to help them in all aspects of career management.Â
“Ezekia was created to fill an urgent need in the executive search market,” says CEO of Ezekia and Not Actively Looking, Joseph Blass. “The search systems from existing providers are often overly complex. The Ezekia system is designed to be simple, easy-to-use, and customisable, yet at the same time retaining all the essential functionality that search firms need to manage their business.”
Ezekia covers every aspect of the executive search process, from tracking business development activity, through to management of the assignment, GDPR compliance and online client reporting. “This simplicity and ease-of-use are essential in allowing everyone in the firm from the managing partner down to use the system,” he adds.
Anthony Harling, co-founder and director of Ezekia and Not Actively Looking, and a 30-year veteran of the executive search industry, comments, “Search systems that are too complex and difficult to use are not much use to anyone. We’ve deliberately built Ezekia to be the most intuitive, flexible and simple system available to the search industry. Our clients are amazed at how easy it has been to switch from their legacy system to Ezekia and get everyone in the firm up and running. This is changing the way that search firms operate.”Â
Joseph Blass says “Our customers, who until recently were on legacy systems tell us that the biggest difference between their old systems and Ezekia is that they actually use Ezekia because they want to and not because they feel compelled. It is good to have developed services that are simultaneously helping both the search firms and senior executives.”
