Process begins to elect industry body representative committee.

APSCo have opened nomination for their Representative Committee, the part of the organisation which takes responsibility for shaping the strategy and direction of the trade association until 2022. Any director of a member organisation or APSCo affiliate can put him or herself forward for election. The resulting committee will comprise of thirteen recruitment company representatives, one affiliate member and three APSCo permanent committee members.

Nominations close on the 25th February 2020 and voting commences on the 9th March and runs until the 30th March. The new Representative Committee will be announced on the 30th April, with the first committee meeting planned for the 21st May 2020.

“APSCo works on behalf of its members and our Representative Committee provides invaluable experience, expertise and guidance to help shape the strategy of the organisation moving forward,” said Ann Swain, Chief Executive of APSCo. “Over the past two years we have had the privilege of working with a particularly strong group of professionals. As I’m sure that outgoing members will agree, the role is not only prestigious, but also incredibly active and enjoyable and we look forward to receiving your nominations and forming APSCo’s new RepComm.”
