The company was honored among a global field of top Microsoft partners for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology. Rafael Moyano, managing director at Modis said Modis’ 2019 Microsoft Partner of Year Awards are testament to their innovative data and analytics capabilities and their proficiency in solving complex business problems. “Modis developed Söze, an analytics and machine learning platform, that leverages Microsoft’s Azure and cognitive services to quickly find insights for investigators,” Moyano said. “Söze analyses huge volumes of data, providing complex network analysis, language translation and facial recognition across a range of data sets including audio and video. The platform enables a speed and depth of analysis that cannot be matched by humans. Söze was developed with Microsoft and Western Australia Police.
“Our recognition as finalist in the Microsoft AI and Machine Learning category shows we’re at the forefront in delivering transformative technologies like Söze to our clients,” he added.
Awards were presented in several categories, with winners chosen from a set of more than 2,900 entrants from 115 countries worldwide. Modis was recognised for providing outstanding solutions and services, as well as representing excellent engagement in Australia.
