TXM Expands

Technology recruitment specialist NextGen joins TXM group

TXM Group, the privately-owned £250m turnover business, has completed a deal with technology recruitment consultancy NextGen Partners that will expand its reach into Europe. NextGen Partners (NGP) complements TXM’s resourcing capability in IT and cyber security, adding expertise in SAP and Salesforce and taking it into the DACH (Austria, Germany, and Switzerland) region.

The deal marks the next step in the Group’s plans to grow its TXM technology recruitment offering worldwide, covering cloud, data, DevOps, agile development, and cyber security. This follows TXM Group’s expansion into the US and Australian markets. NGP Founder John Currell will retain his role as Managing Director, leading the growth of the NextGen brand.

“This deal is part of TXM Group’s strategy of operating in niche, candidate-short, high-demand markets,” said Andrew Midgley, TXM group managing director. “It builds on our 16-year track record in recruitment and continues our growth in the technology sector, following our merger with digital transformation consultancy Step5 late last year. We look forward to being able to offer our clients additional technology specialisms and pursuing new business opportunities across Europe.”

John Currell, NGP managing director added: “In a short space of time, NextGen has carved out a niche for itself in the DACH region. By investing in technology, we have been able to reduce the time it takes to match clients with the right talent for their business, giving them an edge over their competitors in today’s candidate-short market.

“We are excited to join the TXM Group and bring our European experience,” he concluded. “As part of TXM, we benefit from the expertise of the wider group. This not only provides opportunities to improve our own service offering but also means that we can offer our clients solutions beyond recruitment, in project management and consulting.”
