Odgers launch in Colombia

Growing demand for headhunting expertise across Latin America

Odgers Berndtson, a leading global executive search firm with offices in 30 countries around the world, is today opening offices in Bogotá, Colombia. The launch of Odgers Berndtson Colombia, the fourth-largest economy in Latin America, follows a growing demand from organisations in the Andean region for high-quality executive search expertise.

In conjunction with its executive search and leadership assessment and development services, Odgers Berndtson will also launch its interim executive arm – Odgers Interim – in Colombia. Alongside permanent executives, this will enable Odgers Berndtson Colombia to provide its clients with heavy-weight leadership skills on an interim and consultancy basis.

Odgers Berndtson Colombia will be led by Managing Partner Roberto Hall, a veteran of the Colombian executive search industry. “The Colombian launch will enable us to draw upon Odgers Berndtson’s global network and combine it with our experience of local markets across all the major cities in Colombia. With Odgers Interim we will also have a critical differentiator to most of our competitors, providing us with the ability to meet the full spectrum of client talent demands, whether those are permanent or interim leadership.”

For Odgers Berndtson, the Colombian office marks another milestone in its expansion throughout LatAm and builds on its presence in Brazil and Mexico where it has offices in São Paulo, Mexico City and Monterrey. Initially, there will be 13 partners in Odgers Berndtson Colombia.

Kester Scrope, CEO of Odgers Berndtson, said, “the launch of Odgers Berndtson Colombia is another step in growing our presence in the Americas and adds one more major market in which we can meet our global client’s needs.”
