RBW Consulting, specialist life science and technology search consultancy, and Thorp Associates, executive search and selection company, have announced a merger, effective immediately.
Emma Thorp, founder of Thorp Associates, is joining the board as the company’s Chief Growth Officer to expand and lead the executive consultancy services for the new group.
At Thorp Associates, Emma established herself as a trusted advisor to her clients, demonstrated by long-standing client relationships and a strong reputation in the industry.
Emma will continue working with her existing clients as Chief Growth Officer while bringing an enhanced service to RBW’s existing and future clients. Emma will launch a new initiative to support innovative, emerging biotech and health tech organisations, challenging the way recruitment and search are thought about in the life sciences industry.
Emma Thorp, Chief Growth Officer at RBW Consulting comments, “Innovative, health focused organisations are doing incredible work at the moment. I am delighted that I will have the opportunity to support RBW and TA’s industry-leading clients alongside a team that is dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes for everyone.
“Heading up this new initiative, with the sole focus of supporting companies that are genuinely changing the world through health innovation is undeniably rewarding. I’m looking forward to what we can achieve together.”
Richard Warren, Co-founder and CEO at RBW Consulting, added, “Recruitment is no longer a discrete business function, it is the key to accomplishing any company’s mission. Emma’s unique approach expands our value as a strategic business partner, offering a genuinely insightful and commercially astute approach to strategic hiring.
“Emma thrives on bringing about exceptional results for clients. She brings an insight, challenge and collaboration with business leaders which makes her a strategic asset to all her partners. This approach complements the great work our wider teams deliver and gives us the opportunity to leverage Emma’s approach and success through our broader team and practices.”
