Specialist recruitment consultancy RBW Consulting, has hired five new team members to its US team. The additions come in response to booming demand for talent in the life sciences market, which is predicted to achieve a 7.8 per cent CAGR over the next seven years.
This new string of hires boosts the consultancy’s rapid expansion by nearly a third, increasing the team from 16 to 21. It includes the addition of Bianca Bernardo to the client engagement team and Alexandra Greene as general manager, people.
RBW Consulting’s US business has grown rapidly over the last year as life science companies navigated the ongoing business uncertainty. RBW’s agile service offering has enabled the team to adapt to the rapidly changing recruitment landscape.

Alongside Bernardo and Greene, RBW has also appointed two functional experts: Dan Sidell in biometrics and Josh Jess in pharmacovigilance and drug safety. Kade Kramer also joins the cross functional team. These team members will be working to ensure RBW continues to deliver the highly specialised expertise required in these niche areas, which are currently facing a highly competitive market to hire good people for critical roles.
The company is now setting a course for further success in the US, with plans to grow in other developing life sciences industry hubs in the region. These areas are the home to the ambitious growth companies which RBW partners with, offering a long-term approach to recruitment centred on strategic business goals.
Having first launched into the US market in Boston, during 2017, RBW opened a second office in Raleigh, NC in 2020. Since arriving in market, the US team has grown from a headcount of one to 21 as of today. RBW plans to continue expanding its team to meet its ambitious growth goals in the US over the coming months.
