International workforce solutions consultancy mselect has announced the opening of its first US office in Houston, Texas. This strategic move aims to deepen relationships with international clients while expanding its footprint into a new workforce market.
Led by Head of US Sales, Sam Erickson, mselect opened its new Houston office in September 2025 to provide services to new and existing clients in the oil and gas, renewables, and energy industries that include contract staffing and direct hire recruitment.
“As a Houston native, I’m proud to expand mselect’s footprint into the United States. mselect has a reputation for disciplined, compliance-first delivery and a people-first culture that consistently supports complex energy projects. Bringing that standard to my hometown is exciting. Our focus is simple: help clients hire faster, retain talent longer, and move critical work forward with confidence,” states Erickson.
The Texas-based mselect team brings a wealth of experience in contract staffing for the oil and gas, renewables, and energy industries. Deeply attuned to the local market and compliance environment, mselect is uniquely positioned to move quickly, filling roles to keep client projects on track.
Hal Miran, CEO of mselect, expressed his commitment to the expansion, stating, “Our new US hub is a bold step in mselect’s strategy to expand into key global markets. Having built strong partnerships with internationally recognised corporations across EMEA, it is a natural progression to extend that expertise and support those same clients in their US operations. This move marks a pivotal milestone in our journey toward becoming a truly global consultancy in workforce solutions. The US market not only aligns with industries where we already excel but also opens access to a dynamic talent pool that will strengthen and diversify our candidate network. I am hugely excited about the opportunities this next chapter will bring.”
Vice president of sales, Ian Wilkinson said, “Watching mselect grow so quickly over the past few years has been inspiring, and I’m grateful to have played a part in that journey. Our new US office is a great step forward, and I know Sam will do a fantastic job leading our Houston team and strengthening our global partnerships.”
