Dési Kimmins has been appointed Partner at Heidrick & Struggles Netherlands. She joins the firm’s European HR practice at the global executive search and leadership consulting firm Heidrick & Struggles.
In her new role, Kimmins will support international organisations in identifying, assessing, and appointing impact-driven Chief Human Resources Officers (CHROs). She will also advise on broader leadership matters for Boards of Management and Supervisory Boards. Kimmins: “Today’s environment calls for leaders and organizations that are agile and adaptable. More than ever, the CHRO plays a crucial role – not only in shaping people strategy, but also in enabling organisations to transform and perform. My focus is not only on finding the right CHRO, but also on ensuring that the Executive Board and the wider C-suite actively support this role. A strong people strategy, embraced by the entire leadership team, is the engine for sustainable growth and value creation.”
For more than twenty years, Kimmins has advised executives and board members on strategic leadership. As a partner at firms including Ernst & Young, she supported organisations through complex transformations such as reorganisations and ownership changes. “With over ten years of in-house HR experience and fifteen years in people consulting, Dési is the ideal person to further strengthen our HR and leadership practice,” says Imke Lampe, Managing Partner of Heidrick & Struggles Netherlands. “As an HR leader, executive, and advisor, she has gained extensive international and national experience. She will now leverage that expertise to help organisations find CHROs who deliver impact from day one, with the full support of their leadership teams.”
