Nicholas Associates has strengthened its specialist Engineering recruitment team in Sheffield as the business continues to invest in its engineering and manufacturing recruitment offering.
The appointments of both Lewis and Reece represents a further investment in the team as Nicholas Associates continues to support businesses across the engineering and manufacturing sectors with access to specialist talent.
The investment comes at an exciting time for the team, which has also been shortlisted for Specialist Engineering Recruiter of the Year at this year’s Recruiter Awards – recognition of its expertise and growing presence within the specialist engineering recruitment market.
Lewis Walker joins Nicholas Associates as a Recruitment Consultant, taking on a 360 recruitment role focused specifically on the engineering and manufacturing sectors. Lewis joins with a wealth of recruitment experience most recently working as a Senior Recruitment Consultant specialising in transactional-level accounts and finance recruitment prior to moving over to support the engineering recruitment desk.
With experience across the full recruitment process, Lewis will work with both clients and candidates to identify, attract and secure talent across the engineering and manufacturing markets.
Commenting on his decision to join Nicholas Associates, Lewis said:

Joining Lewis is Reece Miller Sanders, who takes up the role of Candidate Consultant. Reece brings a combination of engineering, administration, sales support and customer service experience to the position, including a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing (Mechanical) Engineering and a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.
Previously, Reece worked for European Filter Solutions Ltd, supporting invoicing, customer relationships and warehouse operations. In his new role, Reece will focus on sourcing, screening and managing candidates, matching them with vacancies generated by the team’s 360 recruiters.
Reece said:
“I wanted a change of pace from my previous environment in administration. Recruitment provides me with a new challenge that I haven’t faced before, as well as the opportunity for increased income based on performance, which I find motivating. I’m really looking forward to developing my recruitment career and learning more about the engineering sector.”
The appointments further strengthen Nicholas Associates’ ability to deliver specialist recruitment solutions to engineering and manufacturing businesses across the region and beyond.
