Aureol Strengthens Leadership Team

Leading global recruitment specialist Aureol Global Connections has announced three significant appointments to its leadership and client solutions teams, welcoming Shaun Miley, Jackson Ford and Michelle Rodgers to the company.

The appointments follow a period of continued growth for Aureol Global Connections after it reported last year, a total compounded growth of 1022 per cent since it was founded in November 2022.

Shaun Miley joins the business as Client Solutions Team Manager, bringing more than 15 years of experience in client solutions, recruitment, account management, business development and operational leadership. Throughout his career, Shaun has led teams, managed complex client relationships and helped businesses identify the people required to support their growth. His experience also includes the management and development of large-scale mechanical and electrical contracts, giving him a strong understanding of the practical workforce challenges facing businesses in construction, engineering and related industries.

As Client Solutions Team Manager, Shaun will lead and support Aureol Global Connections’ Client Solutions team. He will work closely with clients to understand their recruitment requirements, develop tailored international staffing strategies and ensure that businesses receive a consistent level of service throughout the recruitment process. His combination of recruitment expertise, operational knowledge and people management experience will be particularly valuable as Aureol Global Connections continues to build relationships with employers across Europe.

Jackson Ford has joined Aureol Global Connections as Client Solutions Manager. Jackson brings extensive recruitment experience gained across several industries, alongside formal training in recruitment consultancy. His background has given him a broad understanding of the challenges businesses face when trying to attract skilled people in increasingly competitive labour markets.

In his new role, Jackson will work directly with clients to understand their immediate recruitment needs as well as their longer-term workforce plans. He will help organisations identify suitable candidates, manage recruitment campaigns and navigate the different stages involved in international hiring. Jackson’s experience in candidate sourcing, relationship management and end-to-end recruitment will strengthen the support available to Aureol Global Connections’ growing client base. His ability to understand different industries and adapt recruitment strategies to suit individual businesses will also support the company’s expansion into new sectors and markets.

Michelle Rodgers joins the company as Head of Operations, bringing a strong background in business management, office leadership, customer service and account management. Michelle has held business and operational management positions across several sectors, including electrical distribution, manufacturing, education, chemicals and banking. Her experience includes leading teams, managing day-to-day business functions and developing processes that improve efficiency as organisations grow.

As Head of Operations, Michelle will oversee key operational functions within Aureol Global Connections, ensuring that the company’s internal systems and processes continue to support clients, candidates and colleagues effectively. She will also play an important role in coordinating activity across the company’s international offices and supporting the different stages of recruitment, documentation, mobilisation and candidate arrival. Her appointment will help Aureol Global Connections maintain a high standard of service as the number and scale of its international recruitment projects continue to increase.

Commenting on the appointments, Gregor Black, CEO of Aureol Global Connections, said, “Shaun, Jackson and Michelle bring an excellent combination of recruitment expertise, operational experience and leadership ability to Aureol Global Connections.

“Our clients are increasingly looking for long-term workforce solutions rather than short-term recruitment support. These appointments strengthen our ability to understand those challenges, develop the right international recruitment strategy and manage the entire process from the initial conversation through to candidate mobilisation.

“We are delighted to welcome all three to the company. Their experience will be extremely valuable as we continue to grow our team, expand into new markets and help more businesses access the skilled people they need.”

Aureol Global Connections provides international recruitment and workforce solutions to businesses across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe. The company specialises in sourcing skilled workers for sectors including construction, engineering, manufacturing, automotive, logistics, marine, data centres and semiconductors.

Through its recruitment and testing facilities in the Philippines and Dubai, Aureol Global Connections allows employers to meet, assess and select candidates before they are mobilised. Its team also supports clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process, including interviews, documentation, employment permits, visas, compliance and relocation.

The appointments of Shaun, Jackson and Michelle will help the company build on this service while strengthening both its client-facing and operational capabilities.
