Autotech Group has officially achieved ISO 27001 certification – the internationally recognised standard for information security management systems (ISMS). This certification follows a successful audit and independent peer review, further cementing Autotech Group’s status as a trusted and professional partner to the automotive sector.
This achievement adds to two key certifications already secured: ISO 9001 for quality management and Cyber Essentials Plus, which validates protection against cyber threats. Together, these certifications demonstrate Autotech Group’s comprehensive approach to quality, compliance, and business resilience.
“Achieving ISO 27001 is more than a milestone – it’s a strategic step that reflects our ongoing investment in protecting the people, partners, and data that drive our business,” comments Laurence Abbott, Autotech Group’s Chief Technology Officer. “For our clients, it offers visible assurance that we operate to world-class standards of governance, information security, and reliability.”
As the automotive industry becomes increasingly connected, data security is no longer optional – it’s essential. From contractor onboarding systems and training platforms to customer and partner data, the secure management of information is critical to trust, compliance, and competitiveness.
ISO 27001 certification includes the creation and ongoing development of a full Information Security Management System (ISMS), designed to safeguard member and supplier data at every touchpoint.
OEMs, dealer networks, and mobility providers are demanding clearer evidence of compliance with data protection frameworks. ISO 27001 certification demonstrates that Autotech Group meets those rising expectations, with structured, independently verified systems in place to protect sensitive information and respond to evolving cyber threats.
“As a partner to some of the biggest names in the automotive industry, we recognise that information security is fundamental to long-term partnerships and reputation,” continues Laurence. “We’re proud to meet, and exceed, the standards expected of modern automotive service providers.”
Autotech Group’s investment in internationally recognised standards forms part of a broader strategy to support sustainable growth and transformation across all areas of the business.
The company’s brands – Autotech Recruit, Autotech Academy, Autotech Training, and Autotech Connect – now operate within a framework of quality management, information security, and cyber resilience. This ensures consistency, strengthens operational performance, and reinforces trust across every customer and partner interaction.
“We’ve always believed in doing things the right way,” added Jack Salsbury, Autotech Group’s Head of IT & Information Security. “These certifications formalise the high standards we’ve upheld since day one and provide a strong foundation for the next chapter of our growth.”
Moving forward, Autotech Group will undergo regular external audits to maintain ISO 27001 certification, alongside continuous internal reviews and team-wide engagement. Security and quality will remain standing items in team meetings, with every employee empowered to play their part in safeguarding data and improving processes.
