Cornerstone OnDemand Inc., have announced the expansion of its leadership with Guna Jayaraman as its new Chief AI Officer and Himanshu Baxi as its new Chief Development Officer. These two new roles, say the company, will make way for Cornerstone to continue creating people solutions that help organisations overcome skills shortages, AI adoption challenges, and unlock human potential for today’s evolving marketplace.
The appointment of Jayaraman as Chief AI Officer underscores the company’s AI strategy convictions. Jayaraman brings more than 20 years’ experience at leading technology organisations, including 13 years at Amazon where he most recently served as Vice President of Software Development for People Technologies. He has led large-scale distributed systems, global retail and customer service platforms, and end-to-end enterprise AI initiatives.

Complementing this vision, Baxi joins as Chief Development Officer after serving as an advisor to the company. With more than 30 years’ of leadership experience including leading Amazon Search’s customer facing experience and senior roles at Intuit and Microsoft, Baxi has consistently scaled enterprise platforms to millions of global users.
