Airswift has hired Keith Gee as general counsel based in Houston to further strengthen its management team. Gee will be responsible for enhancing the team’s global legal compliance and risk management processes against the backdrop of the growing change in labour legislation and compliance both in the US market and on the international stage.
Hailing from an oilfield services (OFS) background, including tenures with players like GE Oil and Gas and Franks International, Gee will augment Airswift’s OFS expertise and reinforce its client-centered service model.
“The ever-changing labor market in the jurisdictions in which we operate means we need a dynamic individual who can stay abreast of those changes to ensure we offer best in class service,” says James Allen, operations director at Airswift. “To do that, we need innovation and we welcome Keith’s OFS perspective to ensure we’re applying fresh thinking from every corner of the company.”
Gee’s hire comes as Airswift has reshaped its leadership team, including the recent hire of Kyle McClure as CFO, to facilitate its next phase of growth.
Gee adds: “This is a critical time for the industries we serve. Our clients are looking for a competitive edge, and that includes how their workforce is deployed to meet business requirements. A shifting regulatory landscape adds further complexity. It’s important that we can offer our clients a robust, compliant approach to mobilizing workers for them safely, quickly and efficiently. This is where my focus will be as we enter 2020 and I’m thrilled to be joining the company at such pivotal moment in its journey.”
