Manchester-based Oakwell Hampton has announced its expansion into the US market following a hugely successful year in 2021. The tech and digital recruitment agency already supports start-ups and SMEs across the UK, Netherlands, and Germany, and after having tremendous success in these regions has reached out into the US market to support businesses with data and analytics hires.
Managing director Indi Pahl commented: “We feel lucky to have remained profitable during these hard times. The fact that we’ve been able to grow year on year since inception and support our move into the US market is testament to the hard work of our consultants. We hope to be a company of 50 people by 2026.
“Oakwell Hampton has built a strong presence across the UK, the Netherlands, and Germany, so it’s the right time for us to make this move,” he added. “We’re focusing our efforts on the American data market which has been growing exponentially over the last few years, and we hope to keep building that division once we’re well established there.”
Accompanying its move into the US is a brand refresh, including a new website intended to reflect their global presence and values. Pahl says the update came about because they wanted to ensure all of their clients and candidates knew that this was a step into a new era. “Fundamentally, we’re not changing what we do, but we’ve matured as a company, and we want our brand to reflect that,” he said.
“We set high expectations for ourselves and our commitment to quality has won us numerous awards over the years,” Pahl concludes. “That’s something we intend to carry forward into this new market and the next phase of Oakwell Hampton.”
