New Street Consulting Group (NSCG), the leadership consulting and talent services provider, has invested in a new Academy to tackle the shortage of Interim Management specialists in recruitment.
NSCG has welcomed four Senior Consultants within the Academy’s first cohort. Matthew McDonnell brings 13 years’ experience in corporate roles, including five years with Lloyds Bank, and will focus on Industrial Manufacturing. Will Bellinger joins from Sphere Digital Recruitment where he worked for over eight years and will specialise in Logistics, Distribution and Warehousing. Waj Khan joins from Michael Page and will work within the Housing team.
NSCG aims to attract a total of 20 professionals to its new Academy, helping to meet growing demand from businesses looking for dedicated specialists in Interim Management.
“Demand for talented Interim Managers has grown substantially in recent years as companies sharpen their operations within a challenging trading environment,” says Dave Lea, managing partner at New Street Consulting Group. “It is a specialist area so it’s important that professionals have the right expertise to support leaders and businesses – we decided to launch the new Academy to address the shortage of Interim Management specialists in recruitment and we have been encouraged by the response we have received so far.

NSCG’s comprehensive two-year development programme will include tailored training, building specialist sector-focused skills. It aims to support and develop NSCG’s new Senior and Principal Consultants, creating the company’s new Directors and Partners of the future.
