Major, Lindsey & Africa (MLA) and Pirical have today announced that they will be bringing the National Association for Law Placement (NALP) to London with the first ever Lateral & Graduate Recruitment Summit. The one-day event for law firm recruiting professionals will take place on 29th October at Goodwin Procter’s London office, 10-15 Newgate Street. The event is jointly hosted by Goodwin and Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
NALP is known for bringing together legal recruiting professionals, law school career service officers, and other legal career professionals across the United States and Canada.
Each year, NALP issues best practices and other industry guidance, conducts critical industry research, and offers dozens of learning and development opportunities for legal career professionals, all while championing diversity in the legal profession. This first-ever event in the UK will be designed specifically for law firm recruiting professionals who want to gain insight into hiring trends in the market, explore trends in AI and the law, and discuss DE&I initiatives. Challenges and opportunities facing law-firm recruiting professionals will be examined through a series of panel discussions featuring industry leaders.
