Independent Bristol-based agency Heat Recruitment have announced their expansion into Manchester with a new office alongside a new HR division.
The new Manchester office will be headed up by Heat’s Recruitment director Martin Delahoyde, a recent hire for the business, whose 25 years within the recruitment sector and previous experience as managing director at Reed have equipped him with the expertise and knowledge to accelerate Heat’s ambitious growth goals: “After eight exciting weeks with Heat, I’m thrilled by the progress we are making in building and expanding the business. Our new Manchester operation will enable us to provide high-level service delivery and candidate care that is local to the North, as well as our expansion into the HR division will allow us to develop into a new vertical. I am confident that, with Dave Morley’s wealth of experience and success in this market, we will soon see significant growth in this area.”
This new step for Heat will allow the business to support their existing teams in the North as well as expand their presence throughout the UK. Their base at 111 Piccadilly in the heart of Manchester will provide a new hub for Heat and will be home to their brand-new HR division, headed up by Dave Morley. With over 10 years’ experience working within the recruitment industry, Morley’s career has included work within large corporates as well as high growth SME agencies, partnering with some of the most exciting organisations in the North-West. Morley states: “The opportunity to join a business going through an exciting period of growth, yet still striving to put it’s staff, candidates and clients at the forefront of everything they do was just too good an opportunity to turn down.”
As well as providing the perfect central hub for their new venture, their new premises were selected on the basis of the businesses’ commitment to Net Zero Carbon, as the building has a number of green initiatives and pledges in place including voltage optimisation for electricity saving, solar paneling, water audits and waste processes which align with Heat’s goal of achieving business carbon neutrality.
Addressing the Manchester opening, managing director of Heat Steve Preston added: “We are excited to be growing our presence and building a new team of talented recruiters in the North. As we grow, we are building our level of knowledge in the sectors we operate in and pivoting from being solely staff suppliers to trusted consultants in our specialisms. We are drilling down on these specialisms, going deeper and wider, so that we can offer the best specialist recruitment that we can. This is just the first of a number of announcements that we will be making in the near future as we continue to expand Heat’s offering.”
