International business services provider, Mackin Group, has acquired UK West Midlands-based, specialist recruitment company, Greybridge Search & Selection. The deal allows Mackin Group to expand its staffing and recruitment services into new sectors and deliver on its ten-year growth strategy.
Mackin Group was established almost two decades ago, beginning with health and safety consultancy and training business, Mackin EHS, which was supplemented ten years later by the formation of sister company, Mackin Talent.
After successfully placing three IT employees with a Silicon Valley technology company in 2014, Mackin Talent scaled rapidly through client referrals and independent contractors’ recommendations and now employs 250 people worldwide, with offices in ten countries. Its clients include tech giants and a diverse range of regional businesses, to which it provides contingent workforce staffing and direct-hire recruitment services. The company is headquartered in Cork, Ireland, with a regional hub in North Carolina, USA.
Mackin Talent takes an employee-centric approach when recruiting highly skilled professionals to staff projects in the technology and engineering sectors. The company offers its contractor employees competitive salaries, dedicated monthly support, access to learning and development, career coaching and benefits normally reserved for full-time, permanent employees, such as health cover and paid holidays. This package differentiates Mackin Talent from competitors. As a result, independent contractors often stay with Mackin for several years, compared to the contingent workforce industry average of six to twelve months.

The company will continue to operate under its own brand, while adopting Mackin’s practices of offering ongoing support and benefits to the professionals they place.
