GreenTech recruiter Storm4 has launched its third global hub in Singapore. Currently operating out of London and Amsterdam the business has clients based all over the world and plans for global expansion were always on the cards. The Storm4 office will be in the heart of Singapore’s business district in Marina One alongside their sister brands: Storm2 and Storm3.
Storm4 focuses on the tech industry aiming to create a more sustainable tomorrow. From Future Mobility, Circular Economy, and Clean Energy through to Smart (Grid, Metering, Water, Home, Energy analytics), AgTech and Food, Energy Storage, and Decarbonisation, Storm4 will focus on connecting the best GreenTech talent to the most innovative Sustainable Technology businesses worldwide. This specialist recruitment start-up launched in February 2021 and now the company has expanded to service the APAC region.
The market opportunity in APAC for GreenTech is waiting to be tapped into with 45 per cent of global investment in the transition to cleaner power found within Asia. Storm4 plan to support the growth of their clients by connecting them with outstanding talent. With Asia and the Pacific accounting for more than half of global energy consumption, it’s no surprise that the region is focusing on fuelling its sustainable energy transformation potential.
Iona Stacy-Marks, director of Storm4 Singapore, says: “The market potential for Greentech in Asia is extremely exciting. We have seen an unbelievable amount of investment into ESG and EV paving the way for start-ups to scale and grow in the region. This year will be exciting to see the growth of the market and the potential to connect the top candidates in the space with the most exciting companies! Singapore as a hub will allow us to reach new heights in this part of the world and launch our services to connect the best Greentech talent.”
