Vistra launches partnership with G-P

Business services company Vistra has announced a strategic partnership with G-P (Globalization Partners) to simplify and accelerate international growth for mid-sized companies by bridging employer of record (EOR) and entity based expansion.

Mid-sized companies increasingly test new markets by leveraging EOR models before committing to full market entry but face unnecessary friction when they’re ready to scale to permanent, compliant local operations due to complex procurement cycles, fragmented service provision, and changing employment structures. The Vistra and G-P partnership simplifies global expansion by providing a single, seamless path from early-stage hiring using G-P’s global employment platform and AI-powered EOR and Contractor products to permanent entity setup through Vistra – all without ever needing to change providers.

This partnership comes at a time of accelerating trends in cross-border workforce mobility, as highlighted in the recent Vistra Payroll Report 2026, based on a survey of 251 payroll leaders in the UK and US. On average, a third (32%) of respondents’ workforces are paid across borders, rising to 41% for large firms, with mobility expected to increase further. Over two-thirds (69%) of firms are planning to expand cross-border hiring in the next 12 months. This trend is particularly pronounced in the US, where 38% of leaders say employee mobility affects payroll processes the most, with 76% expecting to expand cross-border hiring.

“Each company’s expansion journey is unique,” said Curtis Holmes, Executive Vice President at Vistra. “Partnering with G-P allows us to support clients from their first overseas hire through to fully established operations. Vistra’s expertise in global payroll, local entity setup, tax compliance, and operational management, combined with G-P’s innovative AI-powered global employment solutions, helps organisations move faster, operate compliantly, and capitalise on global opportunities, through a unified customer experience. The single contract approach shortens procurement and contractual lifecycles, and clients can easily transition from early-stage contractors to compliant legal entities without the disruption of changing providers or re-onboarding talent.”

The joint solution supports companies from the moment they embark on early-stage market testing, to the establishment and management of full-scale long-term operations, while maintaining continuity across payroll, HR, and compliance. This includes transferring employee data, payroll, and compliance responsibilities seamlessly under a single contract and via a dedicated point of contact, reducing the need for multiple vendor negotiations and significantly shortening setup timelines.

Vistra’s team of more than 9,000 professionals across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific provide on-the-ground local expertise in entity management and compliance, global payroll & HR, tax & accounting. Complimenting this, G-P operates one of the industry’s largest global employment and EOR infrastructures, supporting teams in 180+ countries with more than a decade of global employment experience, the largest team of in-country HR, legal, and compliance experts, and its unmatched proprietary knowledge base.

“Many companies want to expand internationally without committing to permanent structures too early,” said Lori McNally, Senior Vice President, Partners, G-P. “Together with Vistra, we’re helping turn that ambition into action. This partnership gives organisations a clear, low-friction way to hire, onboard and manage talent quickly and compliantly today, with the flexibility to scale into long-term operations when the time is right.”

The integrated solution is available immediately to enterprises and companies worldwide, setting a new standard for international expansion and client experience.
