VMA GROUP, a recruiter in the communications, marketing, digital and change sectors has completed its transition to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), reinforcing its commitment to its employees, clients and long-term strategic objectives.
As an EOT, VMA GROUP is now owned collectively by its employees, allowing them to share in the company’s success and actively participate in its future direction. The move to employee ownership aligns with VMA GROUP’s core values and dedication to its team members, as well as its mission to provide exceptional service to clients.
The decision to become an EOT reflects VMA GROUP’s belief in the importance of employee engagement, retention and motivation. It empowers employees to contribute to the company’s growth and future success, fostering a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility.
Julia Meighan – who served as CEO and shareholder of VMA GROUP from 2003 until 2019 when Andrew Harvey became CEO and she moved to the position of Chair – has been instrumental in shaping the company’s success over the years. Her leadership and dedication have been a driving force behind VMA GROUP’s growth and reputation in the industry.
“We are thrilled to announce this transition to an employee ownership trust,” said Meighan. “For 45 years, our people have been at the heart of our success and this exciting move solidifies our commitment to them.”
“I am delighted to continue to lead VMA GROUP through this transition from private ownership to EOT,” commented Andrew Harvey, CEO. “We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to Julia both for her tenure as owner of the business and for now giving its employees the opportunity to be masters of their own success.”
VMA GROUP has a history of excellence in recruiting top talent within communications, marketing, digital and change roles across a range of industries. With this transition to an EOT, the company looks forward to even greater achievements and continued growth while staying true to its core values.
