International executive search firm Pedersen & Partners is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2021. The firm was founded in Prague and Warsaw in January 2001, and has achieved unprecedented growth by providing world-class executive search services to its clients.
Over the course of two decades, Pedersen & Partners has continued to grow as a highly collaborative, values-driven and dynamic firm. Built around its founding values of trust, relationship and professionalism the firm has grown from two offices to today’s extensive footprint with over 350 executive search professionals providing on-the-ground presence across five continents.
“Back in 2001, just over a decade after the fall of communism in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), there was an opportunity in the market,” notes Poul Pedersen, founder and executive chairman. “Multinationals wanted an executive search firm with wholly owned offices across CEE, rather than dealing with network organisations or search firms trying to cover CEE from Western Europe. The clients wanted one account manager who could work with them across CEE, and at the same time, on-the-ground consultants who know the local market. By 2007, Pedersen & Partners had become the leading executive search firm in CEE, and we started to replicate that vision across other regions of the world.”
