Technology recruitment specialist SPG Resourcing is deepening its European footprint with a strategic push into the Netherlands and wider EU, prioritising cybersecurity talent across key sectors.
The move is part of SPG’s international expansion plans, following recent growth in the US and the rebrand of its sister company to launch SPG Intelligence, a new venture focused on accelerating AI adoption across the UK.
As part of its EU growth plans, SPG will add four specialist cybersecurity-focused managers over the next six months, reflecting rising demand for expertise in network security, cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), data privacy, security operations (SecOps), and automation.
The expansion targets sectors where cyber resilience is increasingly business-critical, including: financial services, energy and utilities, telecommunications, healthcare, and life sciences.
“Europe is facing a cybersecurity talent crunch at a time when digital threats are escalating,” noted Sam Hameed, group managing director of SPG. “Our expansion into the Netherlands is not just about geography – it’s about aligning with the sectors and regions that need the deepest technical expertise. Our approach is consultative and partner-led, leveraging our track record in the UK and US to deliver both scale and specialism.”
Leeds-headquartered SPG is building its business through deep vendor partnerships and a unique candidate delivery model that includes a rigorous screening process, security clearance capabilities, and technical certification pathways.
The company has experienced rapid growth over the past two years, supporting both public and private sector clients in the deployment of secure digital infrastructure and AI systems.
The latest move reinforces SPG’s commitment to building world-class teams that can help organisations navigate complex regulatory environments, manage risk, and modernise securely at speed.
