Employment and Recruitment Federation in new partnership with The Recruitment Network

The Employment & Recruitment Federation (ERF) and The Recruitment Network (TRN) have agreed a strategic partnership to enhance the support, insight and resources available to recruitment businesses across Ireland.

The partnership brings together ERF’s role as the representative body for Ireland’s recruitment and staffing industry, promoting high standards, ethics and professional practice, with TRN’s community and advisory support for recruitment business leaders focused on performance, productivity and growth.

Geraldine King, CEO of the Employment & Recruitment Federation, said, “The Employment & Recruitment Federation exists to promote high standards, strong ethics and professional practice in recruitment, while giving our members a clear voice with policymakers and the wider business community. This partnership allows us to extend the practical support and performance insight available to ERF members at a time when the market is changing quickly. By working with TRN, we can help recruitment businesses strengthen their operations, invest in their people and continue to deliver high quality services to clients and candidates.”

Working together, ERF and TRN will help recruitment business owners and leaders build stronger, more resilient organisations that deliver better outcomes for clients, candidates and the wider Irish economy.

Under the partnership, ERF members will gain access to a curated selection of TRN resources and experiences designed to support business performance, including access to the TRN World platform, selected digital tools, community learning opportunities and a range of advisory-led online events.

TRN members operating in Ireland will benefit from ERF’s guidance on compliance, policy, education and industry standards, as well as deeper insight into Irish labour market dynamics and the regulatory environment.

Both organisations will remain fully independent. Advisory support, strategic programmes and peer collaboration will continue to be delivered within each organisation’s own membership. The partnership will focus on shared initiatives such as joint thought leadership and market insight for the Irish recruitment sector, collaborative activities and events for recruitment leaders and their teams, a stronger combined voice to champion high standards and better access to tools, training and advisory support for recruitment businesses of all sizes.

James Osborne, Co-Founder of The Recruitment Network, said, “The recruitment industry is evolving at speed, driven by technology, changing client expectations and new ways of working. Our partnership with ERF is about ensuring that this change strengthens the profession. By combining TRN’s innovation and performance insights with ERF’s leadership on standards, education and representation, we can support recruitment businesses in Ireland to adapt with confidence, improve productivity and grow sustainably.”

Gordon Stoddart, Co-Founder of The Recruitment Network, said, “Recruitment leaders want a mix of strategic guidance, practical tools and a strong professional community around them. This partnership delivers that combination. Together with ERF, our aim is to help recruitment firms across Ireland become more resilient, more profitable and more respected, while continuing to play a vital role in Ireland’s economy.”
