Appointment made to develop Boyden’s presence in China.

Reid Wang has joined Boyden in Shanghai as a Partner in Greater China. According to William Farrell, managing partner of Boyden Greater China notes, the region is an important one for the business: “Greater China is a critical region for our firm’s growth and our clients’ global expansion plans,” he says. “The appointment of Reid will bring Boyden tremendous additional inroads across various sectors, and his industry leadership will be a great benefit to our clients globally. His extensive network makes him a rich resource for access to executive talent across China, Asia and beyond.”

Wang joins Boyden with over 20 years of strategic human resources experience, focused on organisational and leadership development and change. His experience spans multiple sectors including telecommunications, energy, fast-moving consumer goods and automotive.

Wang has held several prominent HR management roles including head of Human Resources at Nokia and head of HR integration project for an Nokia Shanghai Bell joint venture. He was also global chief Human Resources officer at HCP Packaging Company.

Prior to his career in HR, Wang worked at Boyden, where he drove and coordinated all business development and search activities in China with a focus on North China.
