Talent International has reported revenue of AUD 354 million (USD 237.4 million) for the six months to 31 December 2019, an increase of 13 per cent when compared to the same period in 2018.
The business’ fortunes have been boosted by revenues across the APAC region which increased by 15 per cent to AUD 317 million (USD 212.6 million). Meanwhile gross margin increased by 12 per cent and EBITDA by 12 per cent to AUD 8 million. Record contractor growth was achieved across the business with the largest contributions coming from Melbourne, Wellington, Perth and Brisbane.
In October 2019 Talent announced the acquisition of ManpowerGroup’s New Zealand IT business, Experis. Talent said it has seen continued expansion in the New Zealand market with the conclusion of the acquisition of Experis.
At the same time, Talent has reported that its UK and European operations continue to build their presence in the public and digital sectors while the US continues to build an ‘impressive portfolio of clients’ in the digital and life science sectors in both the US states of California and New York.
