The BondMoran Golf Day is definitely NOT normal!
The finance recruitment specialists are back as they turn Essendon Golf and Country Club very pink in aid of a cancer charity.
Pink day-glow bunkers, a mariachi band, a rodeo bull, The Pink Flamingo bar serving…pink cocktails, a dunk tank and DJs are just the tip of this pink iceberg.
With helpers jumping out from the bushes in camouflage outfits or running across fairways in animal mascot costumes, this is less about the golf and more about creating the most engaging, uplifting and totally bonkers day in the recruitment industry calendar.
There’s always a story and when BM opened their doors in 2016, Lawrence’s wife was recovering from her breast cancer journey, hence their pink logo. To raise awareness and much-needed funds for the charities who supported her, the BM golf day was born!
With a chance to win an Aston Martin, a roaming crowd cheering on unsuspecting golfers, magicians, ice cream vans (serving pink ice cream) and loads of other silliness, this really could be the UK’s wackiest golf day!
Whilst BondMoran support the recruitment sector with mid and senior finance hires, they firmly believe that showing personality in business can build stronger relationships. This day is definitely an example of that approach and those who attend don’t forget BM in a hurry!
It’s a complimentary day aimed at CEOs, MDs, HR Directors, CFOs and FDs and the players (who have to wear pink or pay a charity fine!) always ‘dig deep’ for the cause.
Finishing off with a BBQ whilst Lawrence Bond (the MD) presents the most prestigious prize that the players all compete for…the coveted Pink Jacket signed by previous years winners! To say that the attention to detail is unrivalled is an understatement. Even the burgers are in pink buns!
This event has definitely become a particularly unusual and bright highlight of the recruitment sector’s golfing calendar..
If you’d like to join in the fun and spend the day with fellow, charitable recruiters on 3rd July or you want to support the cause, drop Lawrence a note at [email protected]
