The economic potential of Coventry has been hailed by the directors of a start-up recruitment agency which has just launched in the growing town. Resolute Recruitment, which specialises in recruitment for the commercial driving and industrial sectors, has been launched by Mark Knight and Steve Borondy who have recently quit their jobs with a national recruitment firm to launch on their ago.
The company’s directors said launching in Coventry is an exciting opportunity because of the cities promising economic prospects. “Coventry is already a rapidly growing city, with more growth to come with significant new housing outlined in the Council’s Local Plan,” said Knight. “The planned growth made Coventry the best location for us to launch our business, at what is a really exciting time for the city.
“The labour market is facing some challenges attracting enough candidates presently but the new planned new housing will help to grow the potential pool of labour within the area and the ability to supply a quality local workforce to local companies is one area we’re very good at and keen to see grow.”
Resolute Recruitment’s plans for the future are also forecasting rapid growth. Knight and Borondy are planning to create five new full-time jobs within their businesses first year of trading and have future plans for a second office in the Midlands.
With a combined 15 years’ recruitment experience the duo are confident of hitting the ground running and putting their ambitious plans into action.
Mr Borondy said: “We know there is a lot of competition in the region, but myself and Mark have nearly 15 years’ experience in recruitment and we are keen to hit the ground running and have our eyes set on growth and expansion.
“Our aim to create five new jobs in our Coventry office within year one and we would like to be in a positon to open a second office in the Midlands during year two,” he added.
Resolute Recruitment specialisms include driving positions, commercial office workers, logistics staff and manufacturing jobs and the agency caters for temporary, contract and permanent roles, skilled or unskilled, and at a range of levels from entry and junior, through to senior managerial.
