Talent has been named a recipient of Gallup’s global 2019 Great Workplace Awards – the only recruitment company in the world and one of only two Australian-based companies to be recognised in the group of winners.
“We are delighted to receive this award which recognises our desire to lead the way in team engagement,” said head of people and culture – APAC, April Marcot. “At Talent, we are focused on creating a culture that thrives on high performance, embraces difference, and embodies our values. Our teams feel connected to, and deeply passionate about our vision and purpose. Our management team understands the intrinsic relationship between performance and engagement. Their commitment is authentic, they really walk the talk.”
According to Gallup, Talent was particularly recognised for a number of key initiatives, including increased communication at all levels of the business, implementing a new online training program, launching a real-time recognition tool, and a reinvention of the company’s values, which involved input from all employees in every region. The resulting values “lead the way”, “strive for better” and “give a damn” reflect the drive of the business to transform its industry and positively impact the community.
Talent founder and executive chairman Richard Earl said the award was a fantastic acknowledgement of what has been a main focus of Talent since its conception 25 years ago. “At Talent, our vision is to redefine the world of recruitment by providing rewarding and empowering experiences for all those we work with. As the only recruitment company to win this global award it is a fantastic endorsement of our unique initiatives and reflects our commitment to break from the pack.”
