Green Park appoints new director to head the CIO executive search.

Green Park has appointed Jamie Robinson as director of the business’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) Executive Search Practice, incorporating technology, digital & data. With a career that’s developed rapidly since 2005, Jamie brings exciting talent and valuable experience gained in the UK and Asia Pacific.
For Jamie, the appointment is a chance to set a benchmark within the industry with a market-leading practice, supported by a strong research offering within an award-winning business. Behind Jamie’s decision to take up this key role was the knowledge that Green Park can offer clients a service that goes beyond the norm: “Green Park’s cross-industry focus and spotlight on diversity has a genuinely differentiated offering which is a really powerful tool, and much overdue asset, for the CIO function,” he said. “I’m excited to approach my clients and candidates with a search service they haven’t seen before.”
Jamie joins Green Park having spent the last three years running the technology and operations practice for an international executive search boutique, managing searches from global CIOs through to functional leaders and senior technical specialists. Before that, he spent four years in Hong Kong, where he managed the Asia Talent Acquisition team for an international banking, markets and financial services group. With 15 years’ experience, Jamie has deep knowledge of applications, infrastructure, digital, data, CISO, cloud and sector specific areas and has partnered with clients ranging from huge global organisations to small start-ups and Ffntechs.
Much of Jamie’s success in recruitment and executive search lies in his passion for getting to know clients and candidates in order to truly partner and advise in a consultative fashion. His expertise is underpinned by a BSc in Psychology from Durham University. Jamie believes strongly that integrity and honesty will result in the right outcomes and, ultimately, success for all. “Meeting interesting and diverse people is the greatest privilege of our industry and keeps the job exciting,” he says.
With Green Park’s support, Jamie hopes to rapidly grow the Practice, driving collaboration across functions and industries.
