Cielo has announced Klaus Töpfer as its new vice president of Business Development for Germany. The appointment follows Cielo’s unprecedented growth in 2018 and reflects its ongoing commitment and investment in its Go-To-Market team across EMEA, as well as its increasing customer base in the DACH region.
Klaus, who will be based in Cologne, is a talent acquisition expert with more than 20 years of experience in designing and managing projects that deliver measurable business results. He has been at the forefront of academic recruitment and has worked with many leading global brands to raise their capability through crafting and implementing customised recruitment solutions, employer brand development, and talent relationship management.
Having shown success in driving global growth in enterprise recruitment markets, Klaus will draw from his deep leadership experience and industry knowledge to build on Cielo’s momentum in the German-speaking region. In his previous roles, he worked on various assignments in the recruitment and consulting industry, including most notably being Managing Director for a global HR service provider and serving as Principal for a global HR consultancy.
