Marlin Hawk have made some new appointments as it explores potential across Europe. It has brought in client partner David O’Toole, alongside Sarah Cullen and Omar Al Bakri, who join as principals reporting into managing partner, international, John-Claude Hesketh.
O’Toole joins the business from Harvey Nash, and will sit on the business’ Digital, Technology and Consumer (DTC) team. He brings with him over 15 years’ executive search experience, a strong background in technology and professional services practices and specialisms in digital AI, data and cybersecurity. Based in London, he will play an important role in the international business, led by John-Claude Hesketh.
Sarah Cullen, who joins Marlin Hawk from Spencer Stuart, also joins the DTC team and will be based in Amsterdam. Cullen’s role will be to assess market opportunities for Marlin Hawk across Europe, with Amsterdam being a potential location for a permanent office. She will focus on business development, and will also report into John-Claude Hesketh.
Omar Al Bakri, whose experience includes time at Leathwaite, Alderbrooke, and a number of global banks, joins the financial services team. He will also be based in London but will lead on the business’ Transactional Banking division across Europe.
