A new healthcare recruitment company has been launched in Stockport. Founded by Nicki Knight and Simone Jones, who both quit their jobs within healthcare recruitment at a national recruiter, this start-up could make a big impact within the local healthcare sector. The new business has already created four full-time jobs and Nicki and Simone are looking to create another five full time jobs and open a second office within their first 12 months of trading.
“We are really passionate about what we do, both Simone and I have first-hand experience of working in the care sector and we feel that experience and understanding of working on the front-line of the industry sets us apart from other recruiters,” said Knight. “Our approach to recruitment is all about giving people the skills they need to build long-lasting and rewarding careers in care, which is why we invest so heavily in the training and development of our staff.
“We are really excited to have launched and can’t wait to see the business grow, we have a target to open a second office inside the first year and are working hard to achieve that.”
The business covers Greater Manchester across to Chesterfield, Sheffield and Nottingham.“We recruit people from a really wide range of backgrounds,” said Simone. “While the majority of the jobseekers we find work for are experienced healthcare workers, we also look to promote the sector to people who haven’t considered a career in care before.
“This approach helps people get back into work and also learn something new while making a real difference to people’s lives.”
