Youth homelessness charity targeted by variety of actions at Cordant.

Cordant People has launched an exciting new partnership with the youth homelessness charity Centrepoint.

Centrepoint provides accommodation, health support, life skills and opportunities to get young homeless people back into education, training and employment. Cordant People has set a fundraising target of £10,000 for 2019, which it aims to meet through various events throughout the year. Starting in April, Natasha Douglas, senior HR business partner, is running the London Marathon to raise money. Alongside additional fundraising events, Cordant People’s managing director Kelly Kendall has pledged to make a donation for every ‘permanent placement’ her team makes with a fee over £1000.

“Centrepoint is a phenomenal charity and an excellent partner for Cordant People,’ said Kendall. “Not only are we able to support such a worthwhile cause through fundraising activity, but we are also exploring how we might use our skills and experience to help some of these young people become job ready, as well as providing trainee opportunities within our business.”
