Law reversed following industry outcry.

APSCo Australia has reported that the South Australian Government has officially repealed its labour hire licensing laws, after announcing its intention to do so in September. The move follows intense representation and campaigning by APSCo and others. The repeal bill was moved on the 28th of November and the government will refund any labour hire licence fees paid.

APSCo makes the point however that this repeal does not affect the Employment Agents Licence which is still required in South Australia under the Employment Agents Registration Act 1993. For more information about the licence, click here.
