The role of the Export Champions is to promote international trade and help companies who are thinking of exporting to take that next step.

Launching the Export Champion initiative in Durham, International Trade Secretary and President of the Board of Trade, Dr. Liam Fox MP said: “The Export Champion community is an important initiative and its members will play a vital role in creating the culture of exporting in Britain. By raising the profile of exporters in this way, we will help to normalise exporting across the country, expand horizons, remove barriers to market access and facilitate businesses to expand here in the UK.”

Munir Mamujee, MD of m2r Education commented, “it is a tremendous accolade for our company and the entire UK recruitment sector to be honoured in this way. We are in a select group of organisations who have been recognised for their achievements and success in export sales. I never thought that when we first set up in 2001, that 18 years later we would be working across the globe with 100 per cent of the revenue coming from our overseas work. It has been a huge effort by the team and one which I am immensely proud of. We look forward to helping new exporters achieve their ambitions by sharing our knowledge, our export story and offering advice.”
