Resourcing transformation specialist Omni has secured a five-year partnership with leading facility services organisation, ISS UK. ISS deliver services to public agencies and private sector companies globally and employs 39,000 people in the UK.
The deal marks the first time in ISS UK’s history that the recruitment of all permanent and Fixed Term Contract (FTC) UK positions will be managed externally.
Martin Wainman, MD for Omni, said: “ISS UK represents a significant contract win for Omni and the five year duration provides a wonderful opportunity to forge a mutually beneficial, long lasting relationship with ISS UK.
“We’re proud to partner with ISS UK, a market leader in its own industry, and have the expertise and experience to deliver an agile and flexible recruitment strategy which will help them attract and source the top talent needed to continue to prosper and flourish,” he added.
Omni will support ISS UK in sourcing the best talent, using the most diverse, efficient and brand-led recruitment strategies, all while delivering memorable candidate journeys and substantial commercial gains.
As part of its commitment to ISS UK, Omni will offer a dedicated resourcing team and a streamlined, integrated process. This will incorporate the provision of brand-led candidate attraction strategies developed for each key business area to deliver the best available recruits, alongside the management of selected agency partners.
Omni’s own recruitment system, Appellia, will be used to build bespoke talent pools for ISS UK. It will also automate and streamline the recruitment process providing them with full total visibility and control of all recruitment activity. Candidates, in turn, will be privy to a host of high-quality channels, advice and support through the selection process and real-time visibility of their application status.
In addition to accessing the best talent the partnership will result in reduced time to hire, cost savings on permanent recruitment and improved diversity and inclusion of all new hires. This strategic partnership supports the launch of the new ISS UK Talent Development Team, which will ensure that the business has the leadership, capabilities and culture required to drive forward the ISS UK strategy.
Stephanie Hamilton, head of people and culture at ISS UK, said: “At ISS we pride ourselves on the delivery of quality services to our customers through the direct employment of our people and we are acutely aware that the delivery of these services is where the value in our organisation is created. We will support our people throughout their journey within ISS UK, whether they are hoping to develop their own career path, or wish to attract the best talent into their teams to deliver service excellence to our customers. To that end, we’re delighted to appoint Omni to cover all of our recruitment requirements and build a strong and fruitful partnership to support our vision of becoming the world’s greatest service organisation.”
